1. Assessment of Sexual Dysfunction – FEMALE

  • General & Sexual History
    • General History
    • Marital History
    • Personal History
    • Medical History – History of ailments (DM, Hypertension, etc) and Medicines taking
    • Treatment History (both for other ailments & Sexual Problems)  & Surgical History
    • Relationship History
    • Sexual Knowledge & Attitude
    • Sexual Orientation
    • Sexual History
  • Physical Examination (if needed)
  • Lab Investigations (if needed)
    1. Complete Blood Count
    2. Routine Urine Examination
    3. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
    4. Oestradiol
    5. Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
    6. Luteinizing Hormone (LH)
    7. Prolactine
    8. Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)
    9. Fasting Lipid Profile

All the above tests be done in Fasting State (Without taking food) and Before 8:30 Hrs in the Morning

    1.  Post Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS) – 2 Hours after meal
  • Imaging:
    1. Ultrasound abdomen & Pelvis (if needed)

It would be inevitable to assess the sexual function the male / other sex partner to diagnose and treat sexual problem in case of couple.

2. Assessment of Sexual Dysfunction – MALE

  • General & Sexual History
    • General History
    • Marital History
    • Personal History
    • Medical History – History of ailments (DM, Hypertension, etc) and Medicines taking
    • Treatment History (both for other ailments & Sexual Problems)  & Surgical History
    • Relationship History
    • Sexual Knowledge & Attitude
    • Sexual Orientation
    • Sexual History
  • Physical Examination (if needed)
  • Lab Investigations (if needed)
    1. Complete Blood Count
    2. Routine Urine Examination
    3. Serum Testosterone
    4. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
    5. Prolactine
    6. Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS)
    7. Fasting Lipid Profile
    8. Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) *if Age >40 years

All the above tests be done in Fasting State (Without taking food) and Before 8:30 Hrs in the Morning

    1.  Post Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS) – 2 Hours after meal
  • Imaging:
    1. Penile doppler study (If needed)
    2. Ultrasound abdomen & Pelvis (if needed)

It would be inevitable to assess the sexual function of the female / other sex partner to diagnose and treat sexual problem in case of couple. The history taking is done separate to maintain the privacy of each individual
